Raphael Reichert: decisions

The exhibition title refers to an ongoing video project that Raphael Reichert started in February 2026 — roughly 80 sequences, each exactly 1 minute long, shot during recent travels in Argentina, Armenia, and his home country Switzerland. Each sequence was initially published on the artist's Instagram stories, referencing contemporary publishing and distribution on social media platforms. This work-in-progress shows an intermediate step of the artist's usual methodology. Raphael warmly invites viewers to give feedback and let their impressions influence the final work. In the exhibition, decisions is juxtaposed with his latest and most extensive video work, reading the news — a compilation of autodocumentary body-cam shots of himself reading over a year's worth of daily news. The exhibition also marks the initial publishing of a series of postcards: a careful selection of representational work documentation, functioning as an extended analogue and haptic portfolio.
